Technology with added value: your benefits at a glance

Numerous customers and companies have already benefited from us in recent years. Benefit too.

Cost-effective

Spot excavations and the elimination of continuous longitudinal trenching enable substantial cost savings.

Fast

Thanks to the existing route, obstacles such as culverts or railway crossings can be overcome simply and cost-efficiently.

Environmentally friendly

A fully biodegradable fluid and modern, low-emission machinery reduce CO2 emissions by up to 80%.

Simple approval

Existing routes do not require a new permit.

No large-scale excavation

Only 1.5 metres of cable need to be exposed to fit the attachment, which keeps the pit size to a minimum.

Highly qualified staff

Rely on our highly trained specialists for fast, reliable and high-quality results.

Step 5 of the Kabel-X method

Step 1

Excavating the pit

Two installation pits are opened about 100 metres apart to expose the cable at specific points.

Step 2

Injecting the Kabel-X fluid

The cable is cut with a special installation tool, then a specially developed attachment is fitted through which the fluid is injected between the cable jacket and the core.

Step 3

Pulling out the core

The core is removed with a winch and the copper it contains is recycled.

Step 4

Inserting microducts efficiently

The cable jacket diameter determines the number of microducts that can be inserted: flexible and adaptable to demand.

Step 5

Connecting the microducts, closing the pit

After the successful conversion of the existing route, the microducts are connected and the pits are professionally backfilled.

Step 6

Done: fast, efficient, innovative

The fast method offers significant advantages over conventional solutions in time, cost and effort.

Patented method and innovative system

The patented Kabel-X system enables conversion to fibre optics by coring existing cables: faster, more economical and with significantly less construction effort than conventional methods.
